on Chrome, I have to use Shift-Alt-E, but it does work. On IE, the "Edit" link gets the focus.

Does the hover label of Chrome indicate the shortcut correctly ? Cause then I see no problem here.
Comment 4 Nadeesha 2011-01-23 14:15:20 UTC
In Chrome shortcut key is shown as alt-e for Edit

This probably means that the Windows Chrome acceskey combination changed somewhere along the line. We should try and figure out at which version it changed, so we can properly update the tooltip.

Can't find any docs, just thoughts to change it: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=27559

I'm quite sure that the Google Chrome issue was fixed a while ago. Bug 29753.

The explorer issue.. I don't know about.
Comment 10 Erwin Dokter 2014-04-29 16:11:45 UTC
Chrome shows Alt-Shift-E in tooltip, and works.

In IE8, I find that pressing *any* hotkey moves focus there, but I always have to hit Enter to activate.
