We should have a mailing list for Wikimedians in the United States to discuss Wikimedia stuff that pertains to the US only. This would also be a place for Wikimedians not covered by existing lists (e.g. DC, NYC, SF) and hopefully be useful in building more of a community among volunteers in the US. PS - I thought something existed for wikimedia-us, but was inactive. Now, I can't find it and wikimedia-us says nothing exists: https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimedia-us
Now, I found https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimediaus-l but don't see it listed under https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo Can it please be listed among the mailing lists? Maybe, also if Pharos doesn't mind, I'd like to be added as a list admin and help get the list going again.

WORKSFORME since the list already exists. :-) Re: the name, yeah, if it were created today it would be called "Wikimedia-US", but since it's an old school list, it's still at WikimediaUS-l.
The list works for me too. :) Let's get it listed at https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo and then we can close this bug.
If you guys decide that you want to advertise it on the main listinfo page, just login to the admin interface and set <https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/admin/wikimediaus-l/?VARHELP=privacy/subscribing/advertised> to "Yes". Pharos should have sent you the password to the list and if not, he should soon. ;-)
