Following bug 26782, would it be possible to check the bots process with nagios? We could even have nagios to restart them automatically.

Removing "shell" keyword for things that aren't directly doable by shell users etc

Damian Zaremba improved the fix and it got fixed.  Our ircecho daemon should be monitored now.
