Created attachment 7998 [details] Project namespace Steps to reproduce: 1. Enter following wiki namespace 'Search' text box. - WP: - WT: 2. Click on the 'Go' button. Actual results: Pages can be created with the page name as the wiki namespace (Refer the screen shot) Expected results: System should display 'There were no results matching the query.' message.
Note : Following namespace also allows. - Thread: - Summary: - Portal: - Book:
Do you have WP: and/or WT: registered as an actual namespace[0] and/or namespace alias[1] on your localhost wiki ? Because on the Duch[2] and English [3] Wikipedia (whete WP: *is* an alias) it works fine. There it does not suggest to create a page with name name. WP: and WT: are not default aliases in the MediaWiki core. On a default install the behaviour in the attached screenshot is correct. -- Krinkle [0] http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgExtraNamespaces [1] http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgNamespaceAliases [2] http://nl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Speciaal%3AZoeken&search=WP%3A&fulltext=1&uselang=en [3] http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ASearch&search=WP%3A&fulltext=1&uselang=en
