Steps to reproduce:
1. Navigate to 'Name' page.
2. Observe the spacing difference between 'Your name' and 'Password' fields with 'Password' and 'Password again' fields.

Acutual result:
Different spacing between 'Your name' and 'Password' fields with 'Password' and 'Password again' fields.
(Refer the screenshot - only IE8)

That's totally unrelated. It has to do with the sizes of the text fields on the login page. This bug has to do with spacing of the fields in the installer. There's zero code overlap, and there's different reported symptoms.
