Hello, I tried to bypass liquid thread extension by going simply to the following page (as I needed to edit the whole page and not a specific thread) : http://liquidthreads.labs.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Quentinv57&action=edit I performed the edit I needed to perform, and now, when I click on the "History" button, I find an empty history : http://liquidthreads.labs.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Quentinv57&lqt_method=talkpage_history To say it differently, the history should take editions with no thread into account too. You can contact me on http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Quentinv57 if needed. Thanks.
You have to use the history link near the edit link inside the discussion page header: http://liquidthreads.labs.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Quentinv57&action=history, not the "View history" at the top of the page.
Yes, sure, but I think that this edition should appear on the "&lqt_method=talkpage_history" history too. Contributors won't be able to find who added the message through the "View history" button. And they won't think to change the URI to "&action=history" at all. Do you see what I mean ?
This bug is opened for almost one year now. Anything new ? Thanks by advance.
I think adding 'See also <history link>' text at the top would be good enough. Otherwise this is a wontfix - I don't think completely rebuilding the entire action=history on the LQT history page would be a good idea.
(In reply to comment #4) > I think adding 'See also <history link>' text at the top would be good enough. Done in Gerrit change #49817
Change 49817 abandoned by Alex Monk: (bug 26390) Add a note to the top of the discussion page history view pointing to the header history https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/49817
