As discussed at http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Esplanada/propostas/Finalizar_a_tradu%C3%A7%C3%A3o_de_%22Wikipedia%22_para_%22Wikip%C3%A9dia%22_(30nov2010) , please update the following variables at InitialiseSettings.php:

* $wgSitename: 'ptwiki'        => 'Wikipédia',
* $wgMetaNamespace: 'ptwiki'        => 'Wikipédia'
* $wgMetaNamespaceTalk: 'ptwiki'        => 'Wikipédia_Discussão'

Nowadays, these variable are "Wikipedia" (default), "Wikipedia" (default) and "Wikipedia_Discussão" respectively.

The project is called "Wikipédia" in Portuguese since its beginning, and we didn't find any technical reason to still keep "Wikipedia" for Portuguese Wikipedia.
