Description tbai 2010-12-21 04:10:55 UTC
Yesterday I used importimages.php to upload thousands of pictures without a hitch, today, all images I try to upload fail.

The only thing I have done today which may have effected this is upload extension:webchat (impossible to be the cause) and disabled Imagemagik in localsettings.php.

Even after I re-enabled Imagemagik I get the same "failed" error, with no explanation.

None of these images have been uploaded. I attempted single uploads, multiple uploads, short names, different types of extensions (.jpg,.png) I get the samed failed message, here is what it looks like:

Thank you for your time in advance.

SOLUTION: logged in with user who did not have the correct permissions. Logged in with different user, and the problem was fixed.

Marking as invalid (not really an issue with the script).

I'll look into making this script actually output reasonable error messages.

better error messages given out in r78662
