The option to vote on bugs appears to be gone, yet "My Votes" is still in the left column.

It appears to the left of Importance, although it may not be enabled in all areas.

I think this bug needs to be more hide all/disable voting, considering we don't use it for any sort of metric, hence we don't care on the number of votes

I find it useful as a way to keep track of bugs I'm interested in. (Yes i know bugzilla has saved search/something, no i havn't gotten around to figuring out how it works). I don't think I'm alone in using it like this.

BZ 4.0 moved voting to an extension, FWIW.

Bawolff: I just add myself as a CC.

That's why I added and shared '"My" CC'd Bugs'" ("My" being the current users, not mine!)

I have a saved advanced search of bugs I'm interested in, to wit:
 Email Addresses, Bug Numbers, and Votes
  All Statuses
  All Resolutions
  Any of:
    the bug assignee
    the reporter
    a CC list member
    a commenter
   is [my email address without square brackets]
