Steps to Reproduce ::

1) Install MediaWiki upto the 'Complete!' page.
2) Restart the installation.
3) Input the same database name given in the step no 1 on the 'Connect to     database'page.
4) Click on the 'Continue' button of the 'Upgrade existing installation' message.

Expected Outcome ::
Upgrade successful message should be displayed.

Is this using the latest trunk? I fixed a similar problem yesterday with r77953.

Re - tested using latest trunk (MediaWiki 1.18alpha). Bug is no longer existing.
