Eg. All articles in the "Wikipedia" namespace are listed under "W" in categories
(unless of course a sort key is given). Why would you want to sort by namespace
by default?

That's what the page is titled, of course that's how it's going to be sorted.

Looks like JeLuf disagrees with you - he's fixed this in bug 76.

That's a special case for subcategories, which behave differently. Reopening so it can be re-resolved as WONTFIX.
