when choose "select file" in "http://firefogg.org/make/index.html#" webpage and choose a file, nothing happens,

the webpage above keeps showing the same screen as if nothing have been selected.

Thanks for the bug report.

There is a separate firefogg extension for firefox 4 since Mozilla changed a lot about how extensions work in firefox 4. Maybe try re-installing it by un-installing then visiting firefogg.org with firefox 4? If its still having issues it would be great if you could report it upstream with all your platform details at https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefogg

I did uninstall and install again and still does not work, same problem as above

yes, Firefox changed the api for extensions just before releasing b7,
Firefogg is currently broken due to that.
also opened a Firefogg bug on this issue at https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefogg/+bug/675724

latest firefogg ( 2.0.11 ) adds compatibility with firefox 4
