visual examples: http://i51.tinypic.com/s49b9t.png (from enwiki) http://i51.tinypic.com/4i0a5y.png (on my site) the page-titles affected above should appear in a consistent color, to reflect their vital status at the time of the special-page query. it appears their current behavior is to remain red for notices of deletion and blue for notices of undeletion, and not account for superseding events, which is quite confusing. <moreover> when clicking on a "red" link a user expects to find an edit form (generally a blank one, to wit) or a permissions error at worst. having a 301 redirect to "/wiki/An_extant_page" if/when "&redlink=1" proves false violates the least-astonishment principle. i could go into greater detail about the head- aches associated with that on another ticket if desired. </moreover>
