On the example, only the parameter "preload" is working. The other two are not. This should be fixed.
Given that the summary of the discussion in LQT has its own page and it's no longer just something written on top of a section, to complete "preload" a "preloadsummary" parameter is also needed to manage all sorts of requests pages, where often section (thread) status templates need to be used and hence preload with their initial values.
Could you please explain the purpose of this feature, what do you want to accomplish? The current report together with the URL provided is confusing (at least to someone like me, willing to hep triaging this report). Thank you.
The purpose is to be able to use these URL parameters (which works on normal pages) to set the initial value of the corresponding parts of the edit interface. They are documented at [1]. In the URL above, the input field with id="lqt_subject_field" is empty, but its value should be "MediaWiki:aboutsite", as in any normal page[2]. Similarly, the div with id="mw-content-text" should have a paragraph with the text of the page [[wikibooks:pt:MediaWiki:aboutsite]] above the edit box.
