Description Rodan BURY 2010-10-06 03:35:51 UTC
We'd like to enable LiquidThreads at fr.wikipedia.org for testing purposes. And especially to enable LiquidThreads at our Web accessibility project talk page, in order to test accessibility and report bugs. Andrew Garrett seems to look forward to it.

We made a vote, and 9 agreed out of 9 votes: there is a consensus for this request.

<http://fr.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Discussion_Wikip%C3%A9dia:Atelier_accessibilit%C3%A9&oldid=57795663#Test_de_l.27extension_LiquidThreads>

Thanks.
Comment 1 Rodan BURY 2010-10-06 10:54:02 UTC
The namespaces
"Thread",
"Thread_talk",
"Summary",
"Summary_talk"

should be localised to
"Fil_de_discussion",
"Fil_de_discussion_discussion",
"Résumé",
"Résumé_discussion"

Thanks.
Comment 2 Rodan BURY 2010-10-06 13:40:59 UTC
Whoops, slight mistake: it should be localized to
"Fil_de_discussion",
"Discussion_fil_de_discussion",
"Résumé",
"Discussion_résumé"

to meet fr conventions
Comment 3 Andrew Garrett 2011-01-26 18:47:53 UTC
Further LiquidThreads deployments are on hold. See [1] for further details.

Comment 4 Sam Reed (reedy) 2011-05-23 19:26:05 UTC
Closing as later, as LQT isn't going to be deployed anywhere new atm
Comment 5 Andre Klapper 2012-11-19 15:59:10 UTC
I'm closing this request as WONTFIX as the current resolution RESOLVED LATER is deprecated (see http://article.gmane.org/gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.technical/65116 ), plus WONTFIX better reflects the situation.

This request will not get fixed, as deploying and developing LQT is on hold (see e.g. bug 19699 comment 10) and discouraged.
Its functionality will be superseded by Flow/Messaging in late 2013 or 2014, after Echo/Notifications has been successfully deployed.

For more information on Flow/Messaging see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Flow .
For more information on Echo/Notifications see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Echo_(Notifications) .
