It's current impossible to link to another page if it contains more then two apostrophes. I demonstrated it on the Commons Sandbox over here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Sandbox&oldid=44173270 An example of such page is here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Krinkle/%27%27%27Example%27%27%27
A similar problem also occurs on the Special:WhatLinksHere page. See http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/User:Krinkle/%27%27%27Example%27%27%27 The phrase "No pages link to :User:Krinkle/Example." is only partially bolden. The Example part is unbolden, so the pagename is actually being rendered as wiki-text, this isn't supposed to happen, right ?
Looks like things have only gone worse. Using entities used to work. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 8932 ***
>Looks like things have only gone worse. Using entities used to work. Just as a note, they still work (or at least numeric entities do, the ' didn't work for me). Both of the following work in my test. *User:Krinkle/%27%27%27Example%27%27%27 *User:Krinkle/Example
