Description Wojciech Pędzich 2010-09-05 13:55:51 UTC
Consider:

When enclosing an external link at the end of an internal link, mediaWiki requests that the three closing square brackets be separated. According to the rule of element embedding within one another, it should be impossible to read the three right brackets as:

]] ]

(closing of an internal link followed by the closing of an external link). The right setup of the three brackets

] ]]

ought to be properly recognised by the MediaWiki software.
