Description Derk-Jan Hartman 2010-09-01 12:56:02 UTC
Can someone check the logs for a move of http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Journal_d_un_ecrivain.djvu at Tue, 31 Aug 2010 19:36:00 GMT, 122.168.70.178 via sq62.wikimedia.org (squid/2.7.STABLE7) to 208.80.152.72

The destination was http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Dosto%C3%AFevski_-_Journal_d%E2%80%99un_ecrivain.djvu

This was a failed imagemove that returned an error causing the description page not to move, but it isn't entirely clear what failed, and why this condition wasn't caught before the attempted move.

I think it is important to figure out what part of the move process failed, so we can try to catch these in the future.

We don't have the logs for Aug 31 anymore because it's more than a week ago (sorry for not reading this bug sooner). If you have found an image that consistently provokes this error when moved, grab me on IRC so I can watch the logs while the error occurs. If this bug is intermittent, please report here when you encounter it again and I'll see what I can find in the logs.

Request cannot be done anymore. Future issues better checked on the spot.
