The system messages 'tog-enotifwatchlistpages', 'tog-enotifusertalkpages', 'tog-enotifminoredits' and 'tog-enotifrevealaddr' are shown in the "Misc" section of the preferences (Special:Preferences) without any reference to the watchlist or the notification feature in general. System messages such as 'Send me an email on page changes' thus seem to imply that the user will receive an e-mail every time a page is changed, no matter what page. The messages should either be changed with references to the watchlist ('Send me an email when pages on my watlist change'), or the settings should be placed in their own wathlist section.
The important part of this bug is the misleading 'tog-enotifwatchlistpages' system message ('Send me an email on page changes'). Also, the 'tog-shownumberswatching' ('Show the number of watching users') system message does not give any hint of where the number will be shown.

EnotifWiki shows the number as "[1234]" in all Recent Changes views and watchlist view behind the edit summary at the end of each entry line. Please see the corresponding screenshot on http://meta.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enotif You can see the numbers live on http://www.wikipage.de/en/index.php/Special:Recentchanges . This wiki runs the full latest EnotifWiki version (3.28 for MediaWiki1.5alpha1 -- I am currently migrating this version CVS HEAD)

Was fixed a long time ago. These preferences now appear in the (first) "User profile" tab of Special:Preferences, in the section "E-mail" as " E-mail me when a page on my watchlist is changed" and "E-mail me when my user talk page is changed". Closed as FIXED.
