Description Liangent 2010-08-04 07:07:16 UTC
Browser: Iceweasel 3.5.8

Steps:

1. Open http://en.wikipedia.org/
2. In the searchbox, input "abc"
3. A suggestion list is shown
4. Use down-arrow key and move to an item
5. Press Backspace key to clear all text in searchbox
6. Repeat step 2&3
7. Press down-arrow. I cannot move to suggestion items now
Comment 1 Liangent 2010-08-04 12:58:13 UTC
I tried this again and cannot always reproduce. I guess appearing of the bug depends on some factors like processing states when I pressing a key.
Comment 2 Thehelpfulone 2012-06-22 19:45:22 UTC
Reassign to default per bug 37789
Comment 3 Andre Klapper 2013-08-31 14:36:08 UTC
SimpleSearch issues => Moving to Vector (as per $wgVectorUseSimpleSearch)
Comment 4 Bartosz Dziewoński 2013-08-31 16:56:00 UTC
The whole mess is actually in core.
Comment 5 Mayank Madan 2013-11-19 06:54:06 UTC
I cannot reproduce this at all. I am able to move to suggestion items without any problems.
Using Ubuntu 13.04 Chromium 28.0.1500
Comment 6 Andre Klapper 2013-11-19 10:43:05 UTC
I cannot reproduce the problem either with steps in comment 0 and Firefox 25.
