Well, actually I don't know what's causing the problem, anyway whatever thread on Philippe's talk I mark as read on strategy wiki's Special:NewMessages can't be reached by clicking his title/header/link (e.g. «The thread Typo in the side-wide template was marked as read. Undo»), I suppose because of that (WMF) in the user name: spaces and brackets are not escaped (they are automatically bu the URL text area in this bug, but they are not in the browser, see attachment). Note that the "full thread" link provided before marking the thread as read does work (http://strategy.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Philippe_%28WMF%29&offset=20100201214836#Typo_in_the_side-wide_template_3470 ).

I tried by adding another thread to Philippe's talk and I couldn't reproduce. The URL wasn't escaped in the same way.
