Nearly all browsers (IE 8, current versions of Firefox, Opera, Chrome) get overflow:hidden on list-items wrong and clip the marker boxes if list-style-position is outside (cf. http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/generate.html#propdef-list-style-position vs. http://jhop.me/tests/bugs/ie8/markerbox-overflow.html). The overflow:hidden added in [[rev:51610]] therefore interferes with [[Template:Link FA]], which uses list-style-image in most skins, but now has to use the background in Vector (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Vector.css&diff=next&oldid=308860332). This causes the icons to be displayed in a too low position. Would it be possible to apply the overflow:hidden to the lists instead of the list-items to avoid this?
Somehow related to bug 24183.

Fixed ages ago in gerrit change Ic993b0fb, before I knew this bug existed.
