I'd like to know if in a next release it would be possible to automatically
generate a list for all members of a category (for example)...

Categories, by definition, *are* automatically generated lists of their members.
So, what I assume you are thinking of is including such a list inside another
page? If so, you might be interested in the extension being developed for
Wikinews, at
http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinews:Technical_solutions/DynamicPageList -
although note that there are limitations, such as problems with cached versions
of pages, etc.
