Description Frozen Wind 2010-06-16 09:27:13 UTC
Per problems raised at a RFP for Reviewer rights on enwiki, there needs to be a right that allows flagged users to be auto-approved.
Comment 1 Chad H. 2010-06-16 11:13:35 UTC
Can you provide a link to this discussion?

And what exactly are you asking for here, that reviewer rights become an autopromoted group?
Comment 2 Frozen Wind 2010-06-16 13:15:45 UTC
Chad,

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_permissions/Reviewer#User:AutoGeek (ultimately assigned the entire right)
2. For a usergroup that allows an editor's edits to not go thru the review process if they have this right. (automatically approved)

Note that this is for pending changes.

Renamed bug title. I made typo when renaming.
Comment 4 Cenarium 2010-06-16 14:24:43 UTC
All autoconfirmed (and confirmed) users have their edits automatically accepted if the prior revision is already accepted except on pages under PCP level 2. Since the latter would concern a handful of articles and the level of trust for such a group would be similar to that of reviewer, there's no need for such a usergroup (at least not without discussion and consensus).
Comment 5 Aaron Schulz 2010-06-16 19:27:03 UTC
Closing per above.
Comment 6 Frozen Wind 2010-06-16 21:54:30 UTC
I refer to articles with level 2 protection. A user group is useful because any crat/admin can revoke the right.
