When you use $wgDjvuRenderer = 'ddjvu'; and upload a djvu file, MediaWiki fails almost the time to create thumbnails and gives the following message : « terminate called after throwing an instance of 'DJVU::GException' pnmtojpeg: EOF / read error reading magic number » So it is impossible to use djvu with mediawiki. It fails with version 1.17, but with 1.16 too.

This bug was opened more than 2 years ago and is most definitely caused by a local configuration issue. I don't think there is anything we can do about it so I am closing the bug report.
