Description doug_mitchell2001 2010-05-27 17:36:53 UTC
When I type in a Wikipedia article name I am hoping exists, if I put in a hyphen between words when I shouldn't have, or vice versa, Wikipedia tells me no such article exists, and the correctly dehyphenated, or hyphenated, article does not even show up in the "other suggested articles" list. Could the software be modified so the search box will recognize hyphens and spaces as equivalent?

Also mdashes and ndashes should be treated in similar manner.
Comment 2 [[:pl:User:Skalee]] 2012-05-14 07:46:23 UTC
Even more – space+mdash+space should be treated like single space in search suggestions.
