Description Sam Reed (reedy) 2010-05-26 13:33:18 UTC
Seems we've got quite a few modules missing continue parameters, and the parsing..

allimages
allpages
alllinks

Among others
Comment 1 Sam Reed (reedy) 2010-05-26 16:20:35 UTC
prop=extlinks
list=allimages
list=allpages
list=allcategories
list=allusers
list=blocks
list=logevents
list=recentchanges

list=search (but that has an offset.. so that counts)

list=watchlist

list=exturlusage (offset also)

list=protectedtitles

Looks like theres a few LiquidThreads modules that could benefit from it too. CC'ing Andrew for his info
Comment 2 John Du Hart 2010-06-23 15:52:08 UTC
allimages, allpages, allcategories, allusers and alllinks use XXfrom as their continue, and leaves a <query-continue> with that in the request

prop=extlinks uses eloffest and passes that in a <query-continue>

blocks, logevents, watchlist, protectedtitles and recentchanges uses XXstart and passes that in a <query-continue>

All of the examples you've given have their own way of continuing a request. If you're calling for standardization that I agree with that.
Comment 3 Sam Reed (reedy) 2010-06-23 15:54:13 UTC
Standardisation breaks things....

Breaking changes are bad :/

Need to finish the file archive one i've got a patch of..
