In order to avoid bottlenecks, we should have general statistics available on upload tools used at Commons. The idea is to provide a list of the most frequently used upload tools on a weekly basis. This could be added to Special:Statistics
I'm going to mark this invalid, as since the tools aren't made by mediawiki but instead external third parties, and new ones pop up all the time, it seems unlikely that any method of displaying such statistics would catch all the tools. I did make a quick toolserver script to give some stats of upload tool use over the past week - http://toolserver.org/~bawolff/commons-upload-stats.php perhaps that will be useful for whatever you want this for. (Also this really wouldn't stop bottle necks...)
From your page: Numbers are for the past seven days. *Stuff uploaded by mangus's bot:1794 *Stuff uploaded by Bryan's flicker bot: 675 *Stuff uploaded with commonist: 92 As the login method changed last week, most tools were probably broken last week. Could you do the same either for March or the week before last week? At http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Tools#Upload_media there is a list of tools. If the only ones that are used are the three above, this would be good news. It means Commons doesn't depend on most other tools working.
