In the MediaWiki version 1.15 this parameter does not seem to have any effect. I used the corresponding extension. I checked if the extension for 1.14 did the same. And the answer is yes. The 1.13 version works, but here the layout is far from functional. Can anyone help me out?

There was a typo and the variable didn't get checked properly.  Here's a fix.
