Description Ted Watson 2010-04-01 22:14:58 UTC
When the title of an article includes an en dash or an em dash (and who knows how many others), a Wikilink of that title will not allow popups to function. Currently Hanna&endash;Barbera is in such condition. I have been unable to find where he/she got it, but in October an anonymous IP (baffling!) somehow placed some form of insert for the ellipses in It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman. He/she was replacing commas, so when I discovered that this disabled Navpopups, I replaced each with three periods, restoring operation of the tool . Hence, my concern of just what else has the same problematical effect. I must admit that I understood practically none of the terms presented to me to choose from on this page, and apologize if making the right choices would have been helpful. "Enhancement" was already chosen, and "All" or something similarly non-specific is not an option there.

The navigation popups are local JS, not part of the MediaWiki software. This bug tracker is only for bugs in MediaWiki itself or its extensions.
