Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Marco 2005-05-30 17:27:44 UTC
This bug happens randomly and is not reproducable!!
When I visit a site on wikipedia, e.g. [[de:Flash]], then it may happen, that
MediaWiki gives out an error message. I made a screenshot with Mozilla Firefox
and loaded it into german wiki:[[Bild:Wikierror.jpg]].
Does anybody know what that means???

the wikipedia error from 2269

this is what the wiki shows
Comment 2 Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 2005-05-30 17:31:39 UTC
It just means that the server you were using was shutting down at the moment,
presumably as part of normal site maintenance.

Resolving as INVALID.

dupe #1791

this is caused by a query thread being killed. it's normal, just
reload.

Comment 4 Marco 2005-05-30 17:51:47 UTC
reload doesn't help here...
and this bug happens to me in 50% of my wiki calls.
and this hapens the last weeks in random times, so it cant be maintenance.
Comment 5 Zigger 2005-05-31 00:50:00 UTC
Please comment further (e.g. about a better error message) at bug 1791.

I would expect reload to fail if repeating the same query under the same load
conditions, but try waiting for a bit longer when it fails a second time.
