personal toolbar

I'm using the Beta version of the Vector skin on MediaWiki.org.  The link in my personal toolbar to the Special:Newmessages page indicates that I have two new messages, yet clicking on the links shows no new messages.

I have cleared the browser cache with a hard refresh, and used a different browser with no change.

Somewhere along the way, some of the recent changes to LiquidThreads have resolved this issue.
