There is an extra bullet point on the discussion page for Liquid Threads wikis for available actions to a new thread (see attached image for example)

The issue at play here is using a directory outside the document root to house extensions.  The javascript for this extension was not getting loaded b/c it was housed outside the document root; applying a symbolic link to the extension directory inside the document root so that the javascript files could be located and loaded addressed this issue.
