I've done several image uploads recently with mwEmbed enabled, and although I select a license from the pulldown menu, it does not appear in the saved file info. See, e.g.: http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Phragmipedium_Iron_Works,_Dartmouth.jpg&diff=prev&oldid=35618821

this should be fixed in r73720. I have deployed the update you should see 'mwEmbed:remote: 153' when you shift refresh the upload page. Then when you upload it should have have the proper descriptions including license.
