When editing wikipedia articles in the Chrome browser (I'm using the most recent version 5.0.322.2 ), the "edit summary" field below the editing frame disappears from view. The "Save Page" button, the "Preview" button and the "Changes" button are all there, just the "edit summary" field is gone, actually it is on the page but it is far out of the viewport to the right. Only "Edit summary (Briefly describe the" is visible with big spaces between each word, the rest of the line is far out of the viewport and I have to right-scroll quite a bit to find it again. It's probably some CSS styling issue.
That version of Chrome is a beta. Perhaps it is a bug in the browser? Also what is your wikipedia username, and do you have any custom javascript tools installed perhaps ? Gadgets ?
I checked about the gadgets, I tried disabling wikEd and the problem no longer seems to show. Perhaps it is to be submitted for verification to wikEd. My wikipedia username is Lwangaman.
I think only the wikEd beta version is compatible with the Vector skin and the new wiki editor interface of Beta. You can report wikEd bugs here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Cacycle/wikEd
