Description Trevor Parscal 2010-02-16 21:27:14 UTC
Copy multiple lines of text in the wikiEditor and copy them. Then go into an external editor and paste them.

Chrome/Safari: Pasted text looks right
Firefox: Pasted text as too many new lines.

Unless this problem is resolved, we cannot redeploy the babaco enhancements to production. Increasing the priority and adding calcey to this case.

This attachment doesn't seem to be relevant to this bug, as it shows issues with pasting text *into* the wikiEditor while this bug is about issues with pasting text *from* the wikiEditor to someplace else. It was probably intended as an attachment for bug 22428 instead.

If the linebreak issue upon copy/paste from external editor to internal editor is tracked somewhere else, please direct the issues raised in Comment 2 there.

Note: as of now, openoffice still occasionally inserts meta-markup

Most of this attachment is irrelevant: copying from the HTML and pasting that into Word is not related to the wikiEditor software. Only the last page about SA4/EDIT -> Word is relevant.
Comment 10 Trevor Parscal 2010-02-24 22:21:10 UTC
This has to do with the way that Firefox copies text, which is beyond our control. I've verified this is indeed a valid report, but at this point, I do not believe there's a way to resolve it.
Comment 11 Mark A. Hershberger 2011-03-13 17:46:09 UTC
Changing all WONTFIX high priority bugs to lowest priority (no mail should be generated since I turned it off for this.)
