Intermittently new user accounts are being created that lack any account creation log entry. Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Vanageri_db

This appears to be a symptom of a larger problem, as users are apparently also reporting being unable to log into (some?) of these accounts.

The account creation people at en.wikipedia have more details but are reluctant to give them to me -- they've apparently had a flood of requests from people who've tried and failed to create accounts in the normal manner (they have a private system on the toolserver now which I can't view).

never mind, Domas fixed it "ages ago". Apparently.
