Description Ryan (Rjd0060) 2010-01-29 01:55:15 UTC
Please register an account for logmsgbot and have it identify to nickserv when
it connects.

Perhaps, create one nickserv account and group any of the wm bots into it that need/want it.
Comment 2 Mark A. Hershberger 2011-03-06 21:30:10 UTC
Giving half of Fred's old bugs to Jeluf since I trust him to handle them or give them away if he can't.

logmsgbot no longer exists, it seems to have been replaced by morebots which does have a nickserv account (morebots). Closing as fixed.

Uh, No...

Logmsgbot != Morebots

Also, even if that was the case FIXED was incorrect, That should have been INVALID.

logmsgbot is still very alive and kicking in #wikimedia-tech.

Ah sorry, I just did a /whois logmsgbot -- I didn't realise that it had an extra _ on the nick. Who runs it?
Comment 6 p858snake 2012-05-01 21:09:22 UTC
It runs off the wmf cluster (fenerai iirc) so there isn't really any "real" owner afaik.

Tim registered the nick within the last few hours, so the first part is now done. The second part will be covered by Gerrit change #61746, I think.
