Description Chris Wood 2004-08-26 05:16:04 UTC
Instead of displaying "Perhaps there is an entry X... in Wiktionary", why not
display "See X at Wiktionary" IF that page exists at Wiktionary? The current
message is practically useless (as there are very few Wiktionary pages compared
to Wikipedia pages).

Yes, transwiki existence checking, within WP projects, is a major desired feature.
I often want it for links to meta and other-lang projects, which links are often
typed incorrectly (wrong capitalization, &c) but remain uncorrected for a long time.

This bug report may not highlight the general feature enough... changing summary
to reflect this.
