Useful informations would be a comparison between monobook/vector skins to show the problem (with links) and say from where these links come (since I don't think it's from core MediaWiki).

I'm pretty sure these ?match= links are not generated by MediaWiki core, so you'll need to explain what they do and what generates them. Depending on the answer this may or may not be a problem with Vector.

These links are generated by a local Javascript extension. http://wikisource.org/wiki/MediaWiki:MatchSplit.js

You will have to solve this within the community. I suggest taking it up at the local village pump or something.
