Description Andrea Di Menna 2010-01-05 16:40:04 UTC
Links to non-existent wikipedia articles, in the form http://m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=<title>&action=edit&redlink=1 should redirect to the full version of Wikipedia, to let the user be able to easily edit/create an article from the mobile, if she wants to.

I've been playing with this, and i'm running into the problem that action is a preset (to value index) parameter name in the Merb router. I've tried to configure the router to find this action=value, but it seems impossible. I also haven't been able to find a way to "rename" the parameter before it reaches the router.

handle /w/index.php?action=edit

This patch redirects urls with action=edit (or raw or anything that is not action=view really) to the original Wikipedia with useskin=chick (redirect behavior of en.wp unchecked)

I'm not committing this just yet, because I'm not sure if we would want to deploy this. It's up to Hampton as far as I'm concerned.
