When the 500  most recent changes are asked, the 2nd 
half of the page is shown in reverse order.

Thus "order" becomes "redro".

Browsers: IE6, Opera 7.51

I cannot confirm.  Recent changes is working fine for me. 
More information might be useful.

Maybe it could be cause by a special UTF-8 character that reverse the order ? I
saw it happened sometime ago on fr: .
