After seeing the announcement that LQT was "almost ready", en.Wikinews voted and agreed that we'd like to have LQT turned on (when it is 'ready') for our Comments: namespace (Only). Vote: http://en.wikinews.org/w/index.php?title=Wikinews:Water_cooler/technical&oldid=928577#LQT_for_Comments:_Namespace
Following discussion with Werdna, for a more "test-like" implementation, I've raised this issue on the Wikinews Water Cooler: http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Wikinews:Water_cooler/technical#Resurrecting_LiquidThreads_issue This would be with {{#useliquidthreads:1}} as a way to force it in place and let users who can monitor the comments pages for particular articles see how LQT works out. I expect the North American Wikinewsies to come online and generally give this strong support for implementation.
Planning to deploy this tomorrow morning (8am AEDT) after the LiquidThreads progress to date has been reviewed and deployed, along with the ability to restrict user control of {{#useliquidthreads:x}} by namespace.
Done.
