Description Sergey Chernyshev 2009-12-07 16:01:29 UTC
When new user name derived from OpenID matches existing user account, allow to log into that account and automatically associate this OpenID with it.

Simple use case - when user already has an account, but next time tries to log in using OpenID.

More complex use case is when user is logged in using one OpenID provider, but next time uses a different one.

As a temporary measure, add instructions on how to log in using existing credentials and add new one through preferences.

Mass maintainer change.
Comment 2 T. Gries 2011-05-17 22:26:18 UTC
Works in r88350 ( OpenID extension version 0.920-dev)

I tested several "cases" and combinations with the result: this can be regarded as solved, too.
