The suggestion is to set the "spellcheck=yes" attribute on the edit summary field. This is a HTML5 feature ( http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/editing.html ) and supported by both Firefox and Opera.

I see that Reedy already noticed this and fixed it in his second revision above (r59361), but so others that read this don't get confused: The attribute should be "spellcheck=true", not "yes".
