Description Huib abigor Laurens 2009-11-19 14:30:39 UTC
Hello,

I recieved a lot of emails in the Fundraising queue on OTRS about the failure when they try to donate with a creditcard.

The error:
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in
the software. The last attempted database query was:

     (SQL query hidden)

from within function "Database::insert". MySQL returned error "1062:
Duplicate entry '0' for key 2 (db9.pmtpa.wmnet)".

Is it possible to get it fixed, because it sends the donation but doesn't give a message that the donation is done.

I backed out two live changes to mitigate this. One that was passing an errant contribution id and another that was incrementing a unique id. Either of these could have caused for a duplicate unique key entry.

I doubt this is still relevant with the new donation system.

Yeah, marking as fixed since much effort has gone into the system since then and I'm sure it was valid at the time :-)
