See url, the page has no logo and the tabs spacing is other than normal (but only in IE7/8).

Same for lang-codes: de-at, de-ch, de-formal, als, bar, gsw (maybe more). All languages are fallback to 'de' (with different depth).

By using lang=en or other languages, all is normal.

There is an unclosed <span class="plainlinks"> in [[de:MediaWiki:noarticletext-nopermission]] so IE thinks the rest of the page should have this class.

Thanks. A good idea to look in the HTML-Source.

Maybe it also a good idea to use HTML Tidy also for messages or add a check to Extension Translate.

It was purposefully disabled for perfomance reasons.

That's a good idea, but should be moved as a new bug.
