I've been unable to find a way to provide the ViewVC URL base such that it works for my setup, where URLs are of the form /viewvc/irc/trunk/format-IRC?root=mikelifeguard&r1=28&r2=24 -- there appears to be no way to have CodeReview put the ?root= parameter in the query string. I guess it assumes that whatever the repository is, it is viewvc's default and therefore doesn't need the repository parameter.

A more sophisticated way of configuring the ViewVC URLs seems necessary.

As matter of the fact it doesn't seem to work for any setup. Here's invalid link it produces for a folder:
