Description Thomas Bleher 2009-10-21 19:13:45 UTC
When using the enhanced editing toolbar by the Usability Initiative, all extended ProofreadPage buttons are missing. Please add them to the enhanced toolbar.

What are these buttons and where and how are you adding them to the old toolbar?
Comment 2 ThomasV 2009-10-22 13:42:59 UTC
These buttons are added by javascript, in proofread.js
3 of them are for the zoom (in/out/reset).
2 of them are switches for the layout of the edit window (horizontal/vertical, show/hide header fields).

On further thought, I don't think the zoom buttons should be in the toolbar at all, as they don't have anything to do with the edit itself. I think they could be added as an overlay over the displayed scan, similar to the zoom control in Google maps.

As a comment. All the functions in the tool bar are vital, and it would be next to impossible to function well without any of them. The zoom buttons, and the switch vieware useful to have on the toolbar. Any switch from the toolbar would need to see an improvement in functionality, and not impede the vision of the text being proofread.

ThomasV, also remember the OCR button is an optional part of the set and needs to flick in and out as set through gadgets.

this is fixed in svn
