Description Jason Wong 2009-10-12 09:23:01 UTC
Based on the community consensus at Village Pump (technique) in the link listed above, please set up the group of Autoreviewers and switch on the group of Confirmed, which "Confirmed" listed in Special:ListGroupRights of zhwiki already. Both rights please be granted and revoked by Administrators. Thank you very much.
Comment 1 Roan Kattouw 2009-12-17 16:48:08 UTC
Could you be more specific as to:
* Which rights autoreviewers (do you mean autopatrollers?) should have
* What you mean by "switching on" the Confirmed group. Do you want bureaucrats to get the ability to add/remove people to/from that group?
Comment 2 Jason Wong 2009-12-18 04:56:58 UTC
For the group of "Autoreviewers", it should contain the right of "Have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled (autopatrol)", which the setting is similar to English Wikipedia. Moreover, what I meant is to set up the group of "Confirmed" also. Two groups in total is to be set up. And admins should get the ability to add or remove those rights from users. Sorry for my poor English and thank you very much.

The Confirmed group already exists on zhwiki (see zh:Special:Listgrouprights). Do you want me to allow administrators to add/remove this group?
Comment 4 Jason Wong 2009-12-18 11:07:45 UTC
Yes, please let admins have the ability to grant or revoke the right.
Comment 5 Roan Kattouw 2009-12-18 11:24:31 UTC
Done
Comment 6 Liangent 2009-12-23 05:42:58 UTC
Why are people with the right "autopatrol" called "autoreviewers" on enwiki but "autopatrollers" on zhwiki?

I don't mean the localized names, but the code names (the ones in LocalSettings.php).
Comment 7 Liangent 2009-12-23 05:45:45 UTC
On most of pages on zhwiki, the name "autoreviewer" is used (see zh:Special:Search/all:autoreviewer), instead of "autopatroller" (see zh:Special:Search/all:autopatroller).
Comment 8 Roan Kattouw 2009-12-23 13:09:44 UTC
Why is this a big deal? The code name is unused except in the Special:Listusers/autopatroller link. If you really want the group renamed, that can be done of course.
Comment 9 Liangent 2009-12-24 04:28:59 UTC
This also matters
Comment 10 Jason Wong 2009-12-24 13:40:26 UTC
Please rename it. Thank you.
